Diageo were looking to generate trial during the launch of this new Classic Mix product range, however they had a limited budget. Umbrella worked with them on the mechanics of this cost effective promotion. To remove the risk of over-redemption we were able to provide them a fixed fee solution.

Consumers who purchased a bottle of Classic Mix were invited to take part in a taste challenge in order to claim back their purchase price. The challenge was to outline, in no less than 15 words, what their perfect moment for enjoying Classic Mix is. Consumers had to mail this in along with the original till receipt dated within the promotional period, plus the promotional neck collar. In return the consumer received a refund cheque for the full product cost.
