There has been substantial growth in the cereal bar market to the extent that the sector has become swamped. Kellogg’s were looking to increase sales both to caters and consumers and worked with Umbrella on their £1.5 million Big Breakfast prize fund campaign. 50 New York weekend prizes were used as a motivating incentive to prompt purchase. This was done using ‘4 from 11’ scratchcards.
Umbrella’s knowledge of this constantly growing market, allowed us to advise on the structure of the prize pool and calculate the odds of winning each prize. This insight allowed us to offer an appropriate insurance package to Kellogg’s.
