The campaign…

This was a media stunt with a difference.

With the aim of communicating their new shower gel formulations and packaging, Lynx built the world’s tallest shower to demonstrate how potent the Lynx effect really can be.

This gave the opportunity to run an irresistible prize promotion – recruiting for a willing man to take part in this social showering experiment, lathering under the Lynx shower at Bournemouth beach.  

Some results…

With a Guinness World Record adjudicator on standby, Lynx and our lucky competition winner succeeded in breaking the World Record (152 people) for the most number of people showering simultaneously. Following this, the video of the shower stunt has achieved more than 480,000 views online.

Umbrella is the exclusive risk provider for Unilever. This is an example of one of the many Unilever promotions that comes through Umbrella, with the purpose of maximizing their budgets in relation to prize and fulfillment.
